I ended up buying a repro rod from Lodgewood. I don't know where they get them, but it looks like a fine and accurately done ramrod. It looks like it is one piece and it also very close to an original. It is also close to the measurements posted here of an original. My only gripe is that it is somewhat sharp at the top of the head on the edge, but this can be easily rounded off a bit. Otherwise, it looks very good.
