  • Camp Lee, Richmond VA ca. 1860-1861??

In search of any and all information with regards to activities at Camp Lee, Richmond VA ca. 1860-1861.

Yes, we're well aware of Mike Gorman's wonderful website civilwarrichmond.com

What we're really in search of is good primary/secondary sources about the camp, camp life, weather, camp conditions, food, schedules, uniforms, civilians,...etc.

    Thanks,

    Paul B.

    Paul
Have you looked at Civil War Weather In Virginia by Robert Krick? Don't know much about it accept that I ran across it referenced when trying to find info on Camp Lee myself.

You may want to visit the Richmond Daily Dispatch site:

I found several interesting articles regarding Camp Lee while resarching the Maryland Line companies that were organized there.

      All the best,
