Does anyone know what the "T" stands for on this Bayonet?

    Re: 1855 Springfield Bayonet Marking

    Hallo!

    Dunno, sorry.

M1855 bayonets sometimes feature "A," "F," "J," as well as the more common "S" (thought to be may be Springfield Armory production).

Some believe these letters were/are inspectors' stamps (although many/most blades do not have them).
