Re: Really cool US Forage cap

Good evening! I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to this cap? Did it sell back in 2009? Does anyone know where it is now, or if there is a current photo of it?

A quick check on Ancestry.com shows that Cpl Chisholm was born in 1845, and probably died in 1914. His widow applied for a widow's pension that year. He is buried in the Uniontown, PA cemetary.

Thanks in advance for any information. :)
