  • RD II Buttons

OK...I am a Virginia Boy, getting a Richmond Depot II made as we speak. My question is what are the best buttons, for a mid-war impression to put on? Block Eyes? State Buttons? Private purchase? National?

    Thanks,

    Paul B. Boulden Jr.

    Re: RD II Buttons

    Paul,

Don't know much on this, but I would recommend (from experience) that you use a non-state button so that the jacket is more generic and you are able to portray troops from other states. I would go with the "I" buttons.

Block I or Federal Eagle are the most generic.
