Ticking cravats?

I have been doing some research on period correct cravats, I have seen the different color checkerd cravats but my question is; Was there any Ticking material cravats?

Never heard of such a thing. Stripped silk yes, or even thin cotton or linen cravats with border print stripes sure, but never ticking. This will become readily apparent the first time you try and tie a decent knot and realize that ticking is far too heavy to be used for such a purpose, a leather infantry neck stock would be more comfortable :).
