I was at a local gun store the other day and saw an 1822 converted to percussion for 900 and an 1816 converted to percussion for 800. I am not in a position to buy either but considering the price of reproductions now they seem to be a good deal to me. If anyone wants more information they can PM me. I am in Flint Mi. I have no financial interest in them I just happened to see them for sale and thought some one may want a great early war smoothbore.
