Is there any place reproducing period newspapers besides Harper's Weekly? I have done a bunch of searching and have come up short. Any help would be appreciated. It may be a long shot but thought I'd ask.

Re: Reproduction newspapers
Check a coffee table book being sold at Barnes and Noble: The NY Times Front pages 1851-2009. I got it couple weeks ago in their bargain book section. It was marked 20 pct off then if you have a BN member card you get another 10 pct off. The book originally sold for $60.00 US, so that is big disacount. It is about 300 pages with some foldouts. Comes with 3 DVDs that has the rest. I have looked through it and it does have the close of the war and Lincoln's assasination. You might want to look at that.

Re: Reproduction newspapers
A member of the unit I belong to has been able to get some copies of Newspapers from Indiana. I think he got them through Indiana State University.
Could be worth contacting similar institutes to see if they can provide you with publications relevant to your impression. You never know what might be floating around in their libraries or collections.
Send a few e-mails, you never know what response you could get, might be they have just what your looking for!Alistair Wilson
