The Regular drill and other duties which we performed in the Old Barracks were adopted without change in the new Barracks. During out 17 days stay here but little occured to vary the regular routine of duty. The ladies of Schenectady proved that they still remembered us by presenting us (Co. E) with 80 Rubber Blankets. also a needle book containing about one dozen needles. a paper of pins two ----- of white and black thread. some two dozen buttons. and a stripe of paper containing in --------- -- quotation from Scripture. The old system of papes was still retained.

15 Today a box was received from the Ladies of Schenectady containing havelocks.
