  • Brunson Jacket

I have tried to find pictures of the James Woods Brunson jacket all over and cannot seem to do so. It seems as though there used to be some pictures of the entire jacket on the forums, but I can't seem to find them. The only thing I could find was a picture of the epulette. I'm very interested in kersey type 2's and would like to get a better look at this one.

If anyone could help out it would be appreciated.

      Adam,
I found an old post showing a Neal Sexton repro of it. http://www.authentic-campaigner.com/...s-F-S&p=145106

I doubt this is what yer looking for, but hopefully it is a start.

          Brandon,
Thanks for the video, that is the jacket I was talking about. I wish they could show some more detail though.

Contact the South Carolina Confederate Relic Room. They may have more detailed photographs on file, or you can hire a professional photographer to take images. Or, plan a visit there by appointment to see the jacket. There's nothing better than seeing original uniforms up close and personal!
