For those that are interested Kenneth Moran started a "group" in Civil War specifics called "The New York Volunteer". This group will serve as a gathering place for members of the hobby committed to the accurate portrayal of New York State troops during the American Civil War. Members are invited to share unit specifics, photographs, or any piece of knowledge that will enhance our understanding of Empire State men (or women).

Re: The New York Volunteer - Civil War Specifics Group
Awesome! How does one become a part of the group? I've been putting together an impression of my ancestor who served in the 77th New York with the focus of it being spring 1862 when he signed up.Kenny Pavia

Re: The New York Volunteer - Civil War Specifics Group
Kenny,
Everyone is welcome. Go to the top of you screen and look on the A/C toolbar for the icon "community" the drop down box will have an icon "groups". Select groups and when that screen comes up search under "Civil War Specifics" for "The New York Volunteer" and then join the group.
If that doesnt work PM Ken and hr can hook you up.Jared Nichols
