Hello,
Does anyone have a picture(s) of the shoes that were/are on display at the Appomattox Visitor Center? If I can recall, they were Confederate and on display next to a tin cup with parched corn. I'd like to see if they started out at ankle height and were then cut down to shoe height or if they were just shoes. I'd also like to know what the ties are... string, leather or other.
