  • 1809 Conversion types

    Hi All,
I have looked and looked for an image of an 1809 'Potsdam' musket with a conversion other than the bolster style, specifically one with a drum conversion, and was wondering if anyone has ever seen one of these 1809s with a different style of conversion. Thanks a lot!

All of the Prussian muskets were converted in Prussia and all were converted using the bolster. None used the weaker, less safe drum conversion.

I figured as much. Just wanted to see if anyone knew of a different type. I was able to repair the bolster on mine a couple of days ago, so it's all good to go. Thanks Thomas!

Not a problem, enjoy it, they are good muskets.
