Original CS Bowie/ Short Sword

All,

I purchased this knife/sword at the estate sale of the curator of the Smithsonian.

I am at a loss to document it, and am looking for advice.

It is a very large heavy weapon, marked on one side

It resembles an Arkansa Toothpick to me, but slightly different, maybe the Georgia version. Very cool blade.

Lee's book is an excellent resource for anyone who owns a Bowie knife. I have two and have learned a lot from his book.
