Authentic Tent Stakes

I am looking for the QM specifications on the tents stakes for various tents and flies. I know this conversation has come up before but somehow I am not finding it in the Search Function. If someone would be so kind as to help with link.

Jim,

The specs call for the stakes used with the Common Tent, to be made from white oak 1" X 1 1/4". They were to be 14" long, with a notch 3" from the top and pointed on the bottom. Pretty much exactly like the modern stakes we used with the GP Medium Tent.
