    Friends, I am seeking suitably clear period photos of Federal subdued rank placement please. I am placing major insignia (two oak leaves/not four) on a late war frock.

    Appreciate the leads.

      I believe there would have been more in the Image Pool, but IMHO, I suspect this was NUG more a field practice, and images in the field tend to be less in number than images in the studio.
