I know you enjoy these. The 22nd Mississippi Infantry was in Featherston's Brigade of Loring's Division of Polk's Corps. They had been stationed in Mississippi until February 1864 when Sherman's Meridian expedition threw most C.S. forces out of the state. They spent most of March and April around Demopolis Alabama until they were sent to Georgia in early May.
