Doglock useage

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone had any info on weather or not doglock muskets were used in the Civil War? I know that some flintlocks were used by various units early in the war, but thought I'd ask about the doglock musket. I did a search for "doglock" and didn't get any results at all. Thanks.
