    I am looking for information regarding the rations that were issued to the ANV, particularly in the mid-war era.

    Which year? Which season? Which campaign? Which part of the campaign? Which period between campaigns? Which division? Time, place and unit really matter. The question is way too broad to be answered.

      Year: 1863
      Season: Summer, Early June to Mid July
      Campaign: Lee's Invasion of Pennsylvania, early to late campaign
      Brigade, Division: Armistead's Brigade (later to be Stewart's Brigade), Pickett's Division, Longstreet's (1st) Corps

        It's a sad thing there's never been any books written on Lee's Gettysburg Campaign. Tongue planted firmly in cheek.

        I did a Google search and yielded over 5 million hits.

        I think you'll just have to do some of your own work. Isn't that half the fun in discovering things you don't know?
