  • William Ward overcoat

Has anyone examined the Wiliam Ward overcoat? I ran across an image of it doing a google search. It says the picture was taken in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in April of 2009 and is a copywrited image on flickr or I would post a copy here. You can do your own google search and view the coat.

I became curious because of another thread asking about lining federal overcoat capes and I began looking through images I have collected over the years and searched for new ones. Of course, the other thread was posting about federal overcoats but it made me curious about the confederate models. This particular coat does appear to possibly have a lined cape. If so, could this be similar to the pattern of the Private Smith overcoat with the lined cape intact? I cannot tell from the only picture I found if the cape is removable.

Does anyone know where this original is now?
