  • Ordnance Report, 34th Tennessee Infantry, 1st Qtr 1864

This is an interesting report. In Dec. 1863, the regiment was reported to have about 165 men, so it looks like 1/3 of the men were unarmed at this time. Looks like all the arms have gun slings, and every man has a knapsack and some men may have more than one haversack.

CSR of Lt. Col. O. Bradshaw, 34th Tennessee Infantry.

Re: Ordnance Report, 34th Tennessee Infantry, 1st Qtr 1864

So for much of the time period the .69 muskets were clubs? Do the reports differentiate .69 bayonets from .57 bayonets?

Re: Ordnance Report, 34th Tennessee Infantry, 1st Qtr 1864

Where does one find ordnance reports, such as these, of the 34th Tennessee Infantry? Are there any specific books that have theses reports?
