  • New Book on Federal Quartermasters...

    F.Y.I....

Someone brought this to my attention and I felt it was worth sharing. This is a new book on Federal Quartersmasters. I think the flyer and the web site says all there is to know about the generalities of the book and its purchase. For those interested check it out.

BTW, I have not purchased the book as of yet and have no connection to these folks. In other words....no "financial" dogs in the fight. Just wanting to share good information.

I was allowed to see an early and small part of this undertaking years ago thanks to a prominent collector. I'm glad that this is finally becoming available to the public!

Re: New Book on Federal Quartermasters...

Over the years, tantalizing snippets of information have been quoted from the Crosman manual...almost as if privileged insider information. I am so glad that this manual will now become available to the public after languishing for so many years. It will certainly be one of the classic go-to books for the final word on what the US Army intended as standard by war's end. Kudos to the editors and publishers for finally pushing this through to the light of day!

I think this has been in the works for almost 25 years now. I had given up on ever seeing there work in print and am really glad that it has been published.
