That is an unbelievably find and in superb condition. Was also cool to see the battles posted later on that the jacket/unit had been involved with.

I found this document dated May 10, 1861 and believe it relates to the very same man who owned this jacket. Mr. Young is listed as #9 in the document. Apparently he belonged to a militia company (The Davis Guards) that became a part of the 12th Georgia Infantry. Anyway I thought it would flesh out his story.
