Friends,
I want to add (non white) leather gloves to my officer's impression, as seen in several period photos, for every day wear, not ceremonial use. They will join my new superbly crafted winter mittens by Karin Timor BTW.
Thoughts on a source and what pattern they should conform to? I am guessing too that they should be hand-stitched. I can find modern British Army officer's leather gloves with a single button at the wrist, both brown and black. The UK firm Dents dates to the 18th C. but they cannot verify that any of their modern gloves date to Victorian times.
Many thanks for your input,
Bob
