  • Paper and Tracing

I did a few searches but I could not find any methods on this but do any of you have any quick methods for quickly tracing the proper sheet size and quick method of cutting paper for cartrige rolling? I have an event comming up this next weekend at healdsburg up in Nappa and with practically no help and little time to do it I need to roll 600 rounds.

What I find to be easiest is to find a pad of standard size, plain paper, that can easily tear. Each page I cut in half by the length, then the remaining pieces by the width. The rest of those pieces I cut in half by the width, but at an angle so that both sides are trapezoid shaped. I usually do a few pages at once. It's plenty faster than tracing or cutting one at a time and you'll get 8 trapeziods out of each page, without wasting any trees. I hope I explained it well enough. If not, my bad.

Check the color of your paper. It should be off-white to brown, and using white paper is incorrect. :wink_smil

Please note: If you are wrapping them, the outer paper should be color coded to match the caliber of the arm.(White for .58, Red for .69 ect.)
