Arsenal packs

I've been trying to do some research prior to Pea Ridge this year. I know St. Louis provided arsenal packs to our Union troops at Pea Ridge but were they stamped with 1861 or 1862 or was there a different arsenal provider for the boys in blue at this particular battle? Looking for the right stamp design image to use for my arsenal packs.

Any help is appreciated

I cannot say with regards to your specific scenario but here is a St. Louis Arsenal pack from Round Ball to Rimfire Volume 1.

A google search for "St. Louis Arsenal Packs" turns up many similar images. Here are some I found. Some of these may be reproductions; I did not check.

For some reason all the non-repro labels from St. Louis Arsenal that I've seen are dated 1864, I don't know if I just never looked hard enough or why exactly I've never seen one dated to other years.

On both wikipedia and the National Archives sites, they say that the Allegheny arsenal, located in Pennsylvania, was a main supplier of western Union troops. I happened to buy the Allegheny arsenal stamp from The Blazing Star Press and it's dated 1861, which I'm going to use to stamp my packs for Pea Ridge.

I had him change the date in the Allegheny pack stamp to 1862. It opens the useful time frame.
