  • Inormation Required on British Import Bluchers in the NYSM

Gents, there is a pair of imported British Blucher shoes in the collection of the New York State Museum. Does this pair of shoes have any history at all? Were they a pair captured and taken home as a war trophy from a certain battle?

Any information on the provenance of these shoes will help me greatly in my research.

    Many thanks.
