Jacket Information

I am hoping someone might have some details on the jacket in the photograph below. Has anyone had the opportunity to view it in person?

All I know is that it was supposedly worn by J.P. Hichman of the 7th Tenn. Cav. and is housed in the Tennessee State Museum.
