Interesting CS canteen document

[Mississippian]

Found this the other day on Fold3, it's from the Ordnance Officer of Cleburne's Division in March 1864 complaining about a shipment of canteens from the Columbus Arsenal. 316 of the 540 sent were condemned as unfit for issue.

Will, Thanks for posting this very interesting and it provides information that the Gardner pattern and the Nuckolls wooden canteens were not the only canteens in the A.o.T late in the war.
