  • Need a "cite"

    Greetings,

Some years ago a member of the 33rd Wisconsin, I believe, wrote up an article about how to "correctly" deliver drill commands. The article was posted on-line but was later taken down apparently due to concerns about copyright infringement. I believe this article was also carried in the old "Articles" section of the "AC," but I have not been able to find it.

I have recently come across some very intriguing information about the above subject and am preparing my own article. However, I would like to at least reference the 33rd Wisconsin (?) article as "further reading." Accordingly, I would be very grateful if some kind soul could furnish me a copy of the aforementioned piece, as well as the correct "cite," so I can properly credit the author.

    Thanks,

    Mark D. Jaeger

    Mark,

Check with Bob Braun. He is the author of many of the articles on the 33rd Wisc. site and may be the guy you are looking for.

Alternatively, this may be the article "How to give Commands" by Mike Thorson (copyright 1997) posted on the old 33rd site.

        Greetings Mark,

John is correct in that Mike Thorson was the author of "How to Give Commands" that was formally on the 33d Wisconsin Website.

You can reach Mike through his own artwork website at:

          Greetings,

Thanks to all--I appreciate your kind assistance. I have indeed found the article I was looking for and will cite it appropriately in my future "piece-de-resistance" (pronounced "PEACE DAY RESISTANCE" here in Indiana).

          Yours, &c., &c.,
