Seeking any information on how revolvers were packed by various contractors. Nothing is noted in the ordnance manuals because I suspect this would have been done by the individual manufacturers.

My gut is leading me down the path of a crate, like muskets, rifles, swords, ammunition, etc... BUT- I can not find an existing one. I have photos of crates for all the other items, just not pistols!
