Guilbaux & Giefers

I am currently doing some research on the Orleans Guard Battalion, and have discovered that they received Knapsacks and accoutrements from Messrs. Guilbaux & Giefers of New Orleans. Their shop was located at Nos. 121 and 123 Royal Street.

Does anyone have any more information on the knapsacks and accoutrements made by these two gentlemen?
