Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as locating records regarding either clothing or Equipment returns for an Illinois Regiment? I'm 100% on board spending the time researching at either the State Archives or the National Archives in DC, but I can't find a research guide or finding aid that has the information I'm looking for. Thank you in advance.
