Re: Can someone help identify these repro blankets?
#1 appears to me to be either the Julius Jones blanket done by Matt Woodburn or NJS older Fed. Issue blanket. Both are almost identical. Is there a US in the center?
#2 looks to be the Mahone blanket done by Charlie Childs. Is it for sale?
My .02 cents as usual, hope it helps.Mike Barnes

Re: Can someone help identify these repro blankets?
Thanks gents, I suspected #2 was a Mahone. #1 doesn’t have a US in center. I bought them both over ten tears ago and and I only had a small recollection about the Mahone. #1 I bought from my first sergeant (Bill Treadway) for the life of me I don’t remember it’s story. Just know that Bill only bought the best. Not sure if I want to sell them, couldn’t put a price on them right now.Steven Boecker

Charlie Childs reproduced the Mahone blanket from the remnant of the original picked up out of a CS wagon at Sayler’s Creek by a Connecticut soldier if memory serves. Pretty cool.Soli Deo Gloria

Before people start asking about prices, could you please post the blankets for sale in the buy/sell forum?Silas Tackitt,
