    Looking for assistance.

While researching at the National Archives I came across two entries concerning Union Repeating Guns. On November 8, 1861 Colonel C. P. Kingsbury wrote to Governor Morton informing him that Lt. Col. Ramsey had been instructed to issue Morton two "Union Repeating Guns". On the 18th of November Ripley informed Governor Dennison that two Union Repeating Guns were forwarded from the Washington Arsenal. Since I am unfamiliar with this gun I was hoping someone could possibly provide some information and possibly their use by Ohio and Indiana.

    Thanks
