1809 Prussian Musket Ammunition

Anyone know what ammunition was issued for the converted 1809 Prussian muskets (smoothbore) at the Battle of Shiloh and Siege of Corinth? Were they issued round ball, buck & ball, or did the machine turned conicals? I know the machine turned .69 Prussian ringless has been recovered from Ohio camps in the area, but so have the .70 cal three ring and .69 cal two ring. Basically comes down to: Were Union troops with the smoothbore 1809 Prussian issued the same ammunition as the Prussian rifled muskets?

Sigh, I'm beginning to believe my questions are too specific as to time and location. I do appreciate everyone for at least reading the posts

Well Maury, I would say you would need to specify the unit and time frame, then see if you can locate any ammunition invoices related to the unit / time. Jon Swain did a write up of an ammunition shipment in May of 1862.
