Hey all
Was wondering, for federal units (and confederate as well I suppose) that used .69 cal weapons such as the 1842, would they have been issued .69 cal accoutrements as well, even as the war went on? Or would they have been issued .58 boxes and such and just made it work? I know many units saw mixed weaponry, some troops having .69 and some .58 simultaneously.
