    I’m looking for some information on the “US. 1841 Regs. For Dragoons”. As far as I know there are no reprints but are there any online resources?

    Assuming you mean Poinsett's Cavalry Tactics of 1841, they can be found on the 9th Virginia Cavalry page: www.9thvirginia.com

        There are reprints all over the place just not commonly available. Someone would , I'm sure, offer to copy theirs if you asked on the cav forum. OR you could buy Patten's Cavalry drill, as it is the boiled down condensed version of poinsette's tactics. It contains most of what you'll need... school of the trooper . platoon drill...
