  • Shirt #17

Has anybody inspected shirt #17 from the wonderful book "Thoughts on men's shirts " . I have a few questions,

what is the extent of the machine sewing , are the main seams felled by machine or hand ,are the hems machine stitched or rolled and whip stitched .

Does anybody have pictures of the machine stitching ( more detailed pics than the pictures in the book) ?

I am very interested in the french pattern shirts ,so i would also like to see any other pics that might be around .

    thank you

    Re: Shirt #17

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread but I would be interested in learning any information someone might have about this shirt. I'm currently trying to reproduce a shirt from the diagrams of #17. To me, all the stitching visible in the book's photographs appears to be machine stitched. Am I correct? Besides the buttonholes, should anything else be hand-stitched?

    Thanks.
