New Gravestone for Color Guard Sergeant

Friends,
I've been in touch with a gentleman who is a descendant of a soldier who was wounded at Payne's Farm in 1864. He has arranged to have a proper gravestone placed at his ancestor's gravesite and would like to have some reenactors there to help honor his memory. That is McDowell weekend, but it might help to sell it if you tell the geographic location of this. Is this in South Jersey?

Right you are! The cemetery is located near Salem, Virginia, which I believe is in the southwestern corner of the state, near Roanoke.
