Michael Glennan Trousers

Has anyone examined the trousers in the MOC worn by Lt Michael Glennan of the Ft Fisher garrison?
I have seen the descriptions in the MOC's catalog of uniforms, and in Ron Field's book Confederate uniforms.
Were these trousers machine sewn?were they made from the English blue grey kersey? any specific details.
