I recently became enamoured with the Mexican War period. In my my search for like-minded individuals, I stumbled across the Frontier Guard forum. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a post on the site--save mine--in over two years! Anyone know if these guys are still kicking?

Re: Frontier Guard / Manifest Destiny Forum
Hey, James,
You ought to write Chris Fischer in San Antonio, TX: FTroopDragoon@yahoo.com. I'm not sure what is shaking, events-wise, exactly, but I got invited to go to Palo Alto National Battlefield way down on the Rio Grande towards the middle of May by Chris. If you can make it to Oklahoma, there are a number of people going from here...
Closer to your area, e-mail me, and I'll put you in touch with Myers Brown in Nashville. He does some living history for this period...
