I don't recall seeing this referenced to or finding it with the AC Search, but I think it's one of the best organized, and user friendly site that I have ever seen.
Of interest to me was the casualties at Fort Wagner and Morris Island. Beyond the Assaults and large engagements, I have a theory that large numbers of KIA and WIA are unaccounted for and have never been totally tallied from 1862 to 1865 for the Charleston Campaign. If they were accounted for it would have more of a impact on historical issues and the visitors perception to Charleston historical sites. I would also include deaths in the hospital, sickness, accidents and other causes. I would make a special category for each.
If anyone has a documented, by name, list of casualties, similar to this, please send it to me, Union or Confederate.
