  • Governor Joseph Brown

I saw this quote on a tv show but was not able to catch it all or where it came from. Has anyone ever heard it and perhaps maybe could finish it for me? It pertains to Governor Joseph Brown's rejection to a request from Jefferson Davis about a National Day of Fasting.

"I joined this revolution......I am a rebel no matter who is in power."

    Thanks.

Yeah that's where I heard it, but does anyone know the rest of it? Or know where it was orginially written so I can look up the rest of the speech?

      Thanks,
