  • Virtual Petersburg Experience

First, shame on you for not visiting me at Petersburg National Battlefield. :D Many of you have and it has been nice meeting yall.

However, if you just cannot get here then you can experience the lives of citizens and soldiers at Petersburg thanks for a project that our Education Specialist and several other Interpretive Park Rangers including myself helped put together. It is call Views of the National Parks and currently Petersburg is the only Civil War site (most are natural history sites which are still attractive spaces).

You may visit the site: http://www2.nature.nps.gov/views/System/VC.htm

Click "Virtual Experiences" to begin and enjoy!
    Sincerely,
