I'm interested in finding information on two units, the 6th Louisiana Infantry and the 66th Ohio Infantry for a project. Can anyone give me a source for information on either of these two units?
Read "Irish Rebels Confederate Tigers" A History of the 6th Louisiana Volunteers 1861-1865 , by James P. Gannon.
A great read.

I highly recommend that you read "A Light and Uncertain Hold: A History of the Sixty-sixth Ohio Volunteer Infantry" by David T. Thackery. Since this is the "official" history on the 66th Ohio it should give you a good starting point on them.

I also recommend "A Light and Uncertain Hold" by Thackery. It is a good history with a lot of insite into the regiment. By any chance are you from Champaign County, Ohio? Good Luck
You may already have this one, but an excellent resource for any Pelican State regiment is Arthur Bergeron's "Guide to Louisiana Confederate Military Units". It is available at Amazon.com.
