  • The Civil War Letters of Galutia York

When I was younger and growing up in NY, I never realized that the Civil War had an impact on the little tiny towns where I was living and going to school. Yeah we had a monument in the middle of one town to some Civil War soldiers, but it never clicked.

While doing a search about units from Madison and Chenago counties in NY, I came across this online resource.

The Civil War Letters of Galutia York: http://library.morrisville.edu/local...indingaid.html

Also from this same website you can find the information about the 114th NYSV.
