Brothers,
Below are photos of an apron I did for grins and giggles. It wasn't made for anyone in particular, it was just a concept I had. You will most likely remember it from a thread I started a month of so ago.
Anyway, it is for sale and I would love for one of my AC Brothers to own it.
The apron body is made of white silk with a light blue cotton backing. The ties are made of the same light blue back as the backing. The apron is trimmed with a 2' gold fringe. The fringe is a synthetic material, but it is the best material that I could find for this apron.
The symbolism of the flap includes a delta with an intertwined circle. The delta being a widely used Masonic symbol for the trinity of God and I’ve entwined it with a circle for infinity. Of course you recognize the All Seeing Eye in its center.
The body design was partially taken from an 1866 Tennessee Masonic Text-Book. Similar designs are seen in other Masonic Monitors from the 1840s and 50s. I like the concept of permanence with the stone alter being anchored by the Great Lights.
I sign and number each of my aprons. This one happens to be No. 32. There is also a stamp on the back were a Brother could affix his name to this apron. (see photos)
This is a one of a kind design and is all hand painted. Hopefully you will understand there is quite a few hours on the design and painting process.
Brothers, I am asking $400.00 plus $15.00 shipping and insurance. Sorry, but these don’t get handed over to the USPS without insurance.
Please PM me if you are interested.
Thanks for your interest.
