For all of my Brothers who are interested in period Masonic items, I have stumbled upon an interesting non regulation Federal infantry sword. It is identified to Bro Robert G. Wilson of the 13th NJ Infantry.

The Independent Order of Oddfellows took a massive hit in activity and membership during the war, unlike the Freemasons. That would likely make such a sword that much rarer as a result. Interesting find, thanks for posting it.Michael Semann
