    For Clampers: The Hewgag Brays!!

    Thought we ought to share this great announcement publicly in this forum since many of the original 1st California Members were also Clampers and this does relate to taking our mess's authenticity another step. ;-)

    I'm pleased to announce that Pvt. S.Martin Askentowitz a.k.a. "Lone Guard" has, after passing the Chasam of Despair, travelling the Road to Dublin, and being elevated to Illumination, has recieved the Ennobleing Staff of Relief and is now an Officer of Equal Indignity in the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus.

      Just putting it out that there's another period fraternal order that's still active in addition to the Masons, Odd Fellows ect. and this one is Far West specific (in addition to still being as irreverent and crazy as our past brethern of the 1860's!)
